Rays emailed. After making your selection it is helpful emailing the next team - if they are not already on the board or checking frequently.

I emailed JaysGM this morning. He mentioned awhile back that he is incredibly busy so we'll see when he makes it on to the board.

I'm around all day today. I admit I haven't put a lot of research into who I will pick in the first round but I don't think it would take me very long once I see that I am OTC. I am working on my website (hopefully will get VERY close to finishing it today!) all day so every now and then I check in for a quick work break.

Is the draft window 24 hours? Would it be possible to put the time when a team's window expired on the board itself next to OTC? What about posting the picks on the board itself next to the team name? Makes it easier to follow, IMO.

Indians on the clock - I'll pick for Jays if he cannot make it to the board soon.

I'm a little confused. I looked a couple days ago and am very close to certain I saw a post that said this draft was snaked. Was it previously posted by accident and since deleted? I see that in the rules it states the draft will not be snaked. That would create a contradiction if there had been a contrary post.
I also don't understand why I picked 15th last round and now 18th in Round 2. Rockies picked last in Rd 1 and now 1st in Rd 2. Is the order no longer mixed? Are subsequent rounds following the original order, so that the teams that picked first in the MLB draft are also first in each round of the amateur draft (other than Rd 1)?

Not sure what you mean about contrary post. The initial FYPD is snaked since the positioning was somewhat random. I used an earlier draft for round 2 which was the incorrect order - new order is posted. Giants you'll have to reselect after the Braves. I'm extremely busy with work and a conference and have zero time until Sunday. If you see something wrong help out and move the draft along at every chance. Thanks.

Just saying I thought I'd seen a post that said our FYPD was snaked, but couldn't find it anymore. Then I looked up the rules on the draft, which were probably copied over from BCN Pro, and they said it wasn't snaked. As round 2 was neither snaked nor in the same order of round 1, I was confused as to what was going on. Got it now, I think. It's snaked and using the order set in round 1. Thanks for clearing it up.

Right. Yes the rules from BCN PRO apply to the future FYPD. Since this is essentially the inagural FYPD I thought snaked would be best. Thank you for catching and clarifying the confusion. FYI - I'll pick for the missed round 1 picks tonight to prevent any long term franchise effects.
