It seems that instead of increasing participation, the league has actually seen participation decrease over the last few weeks. Considering that so many of our members are from quality leagues like the SSDL and BCN Pro I'm disappointed that this season hasn't gone better. Not to mention how frustrating I find spending the time necessary to start and run a franchise in this type of league for what may amount to nothing.
So, my question is will the league continue in 2011? Would you like it to continue? If so, which of you has the time to invest as a commish? I believe the league could continue, if there is interest, perhaps, by switching to blind bidding with transactions being processed once or twice a week. Generally, I think we have to consider options like that that help to keep the responsibilities from getting overwhelming.
Obviously, this is YankeesGM's league and ultimately it will follow his direction. In his absence, I just thought we could discuss where to go from here. So, what are your thoughts?

I am definitely interested in keeping the league going. I do not have time to be a commish but I like the ideas you put forth about blind bidding etc. I am shocked at the lack of participation especially since these types of leagues are pretty hard to find.

I'll be honest. I just don't see this league having the legs to be long running. It needs quite a few ultra dedicated owners to be comish guys. Clay has been the lifeblood of this league of late and has done a wonderful job. YankeesGM did a nice job setting it up but has been absent more than here for what I have seen. This is not a knock on him as I respect the guy a lot and have nothing but the highest respect for him. But it is just a fact and one that has and will weigh into my decision on if I stick around for another season to see what happens with this league. I'd be lying if I said it was anything more than a 25 percent chance at this point that I continue on for another year. I just keep coming back to the feeling that my time would be better spent doing something else rather than helping to try to breathe life into a league that I view as being on life support.
Again, just being honest. At the very least it was a fun thing to do for a year and increased my knowledge a bit.

It's been frustrating this season to pour so much time and effort into the league and there seems to be only about a half dozen or so active owners. There is nothing more frustrating than playing a team that doesn't make a single roster move all week.
I would love to be a commish in some manner but my schedule doesn't allow it. I am only in one league, this one, because I have very limited time. If I am only going to be in one league, I'd rather it be an active one.
