I wonder who will go first overall!Pujols ? That's the interesting part of these initial league setups. It is always interesting to watch it unfold. I just like watching it unfold and it usually unfolds in a way that I did not expect.

2010 Amateur Draft Order * Note: Number in brackets after team name is major league draft position so others can have easy reference to see the Minors Draft Order and 2010 Amateur Draft Order have been correctly put together based off the Majors Draft Order results. 1. Minnesota Twins [11] 2. New York Yankees [10] 3. Arizona Diamondbacks [12] 4. Tampa Bay Rays [9] 5. New York Mets [13] 6. Boston Red Sox [8] 7. Los Angeles Dodgers [14] 8. Toronto Blue Jays [7] 9. Florida Marlins [3] 17. Cincinnati Reds [19] 18. San Francisco Giants [2] 19. Atlanta Braves [20] 20. Colorado Rockies [1] For now let's disregard the 2010 amateur list - the ML and MiL list will stay the same. Concern is that it has created an unfair advantage to some. This doesn't affect the ML draft which will take place starting tomorrow.

Yeah, but I am now looking at fantasy sports as a business (i.e. I plan to win often in all my fantasy sport leagues that pay out) and like all businesses you wish to be profitable. So, doing loads of player research. But you are correct, 24 hour window and all. I just want to finish my prep sooner then later so I am fully settled in in a few days and can just draft and not research much along the way.
I realized from my early BCN PRO experience that I needed to be better prepared out of the gate to keep up with the greater-than-mine fantasy baseball minds in the league.

You'll never win the AL West Dan! ;D I will....one day....if you would only trade me Brandon Wood to lead the charge! I am glad there were no teams available in your division in this league so I would not have to butt heads with you in two leagues! But I could not resist being in the same league (the Jr circuit) and stopping the Yankees from greatness. In real life they have 27 championships....here...they have none...and I plan to keep it that way! ;D

This doesn't affect the ML draft which will take place starting tomorrow. As the "former" designated holder of the first choice, I don't see any evidence of this concern here on the board. Are there things going on behind the scene? Is the fraternity of owners from the other league driving things that the new owners don't see? Those of us in the middle of both drafts get no premier choices without this order? Is that fair? I oppose this decision and implore the commissioner to re-visit and restore the published draft order immediately.

As one of the fraternity (great word!) of owners from the other league I can say I am in no way driving for a change or opposing any commentary on a change. Aside from that I have no issue with the order remaining as is but, being the social type that I am, am not against hearing why other owners feel the reasoning behind the order of the 2010 Amateur Draft order is flawed or unfair or whatever reasoning others choose to use in their reasoning.
