Although everyone's looking at the Mariners because they added a ton of depth and talent this offseason, there is another team the Angels need to worry about now: the Rangers.
It's ironic that 2 of the biggest offensive pieces for the Angels in 2009 left them in FA for division rivals. Figgins to Seattle, now Vladdy to Texas.
The new Rangers lineup:
Elvis Andrus Michael Young Ian Kinsler Josh Hamilton Vladimir Guerrero Nelson Cruz David Murphy / Julio Borbon Jarrod Saltalamacchia / Taylor Teagarden Chris Davis
subs: Joe Inglett / Khalil Greene
That's a pretty potent lineup. The did lose their #1 pitcher in Millwood, but added Rich Harden which more than compensates for the loss. Holland, Feldman, McCarthy and possibly Feliz or Scheppers down the road should all be improved now that they have experience....so I say the race in the AL West may now be a 3 team race.

When I read the subject line I thought something bad had happened to our RangersGM! Whew! Glad that wasn't the case!
