Lackey to the Red Sox? so long Mike Lowell! AND, they're also leading the Aroldis Chapman race....which means... bye bye Clay Buchholz and Casey Kelly (and more) and hello Adrian Gonzalez!!Rotation would become: Jon Lester - Josh Beckett - John Lackey - Tim Wakefield - Dice K - with Aroldis Chapman in AAA ready to replace the oldie of Dice. Not too shabby, but, Lackey does have a hard time in Fenway with a 1.6 whip.....and health issues. The sure are going to get a lot more expensive...that's for certain! Seems like they gave up on Bay....could they still fit Holliday? Or did his options just get very small? And what about bringing Johnny Damon back to play LF? |
