Yup. My newish 2009 Toyota Yaris hatchback just got hit while parked. Driver side back door area and sorta the back messed up along with one tire. Might be driveable, might not be. Waiting on the claims adjuster from my insurance company to come out in the next day or so to determine that. At least I am off work today/tomorrow and at least the kid did not hit and run. Not sure if the cop saw it or if he just got the cops involved but at least the other party did the right thing so I won't be out anything likely besides time and aggravation!

Well, at least $4500 in repair costs so far. Thank God for insurance. It'll cost me $100 no matter what. Got a free loaner for the day while the shop makes sure it is aligned and drivable until the parts come in for the body work. I also get new exact replacement parts for the repairs and not after market ones, which is key. If the accident had happened in 2010 I would have had to have after market parts. Looking for that silver lining...
