The Holidays and the late rounds killed any momentum we had. What are everyone's thoughts on assigning times for the remaining rounds? (ML 19th and 20th round and MiL 9th through 20th). Everybody picks once a day or at the end of the day if they can't make their time slot. That would end the drafts in a reasonable time allowing us to verify rosters before we open trading and free agency/waivers. Going to finish the last couple ML rounds as is. Once we are finished with the ML draft we are going to use slots for the remaining 10 MiL rounds. The last 10 rounds are the least significant but you're welcome to work with me on a proxy from round to round if you cannot make your time slot.

Looks like we might have a 24 hour lapse coming up. And we do, indeed. Brewers OTC in both drafts.

c'mon guys...we have about 40 picks to go on the ML draft...if everyone just stays on top of it, we can wrap this up in 2-3 days and let the verification begin......
I'm not really putting that much thought into the drafting of the 35th player on my active roster....there are no steals out there...the owners in this league are too good...so grab the 42 year old journeyman or the 21 year old wild-armed pitcher and let's move on to the trading!

i just want to know how we assign year to our players. Is this what you're looking for? 6. An initial draft of 20 rounds will be held after rosters are locked for ML talent. This will be held to allow GMs to complete their rosters. This draft will also assume 2009 contract values and contract between 1-6 years may be assigned. 60 cap years can be assigned to players selected in this draft. If so, it's posted in the thread Franchise Set-up.

Amen. I don't really understand why the draft is going so slow now. BCN auction has uber participation and Summer Sluggers doesn't have anything going on right now and yet it still seems like everybody checks in once a day.

I'll email the league with time slots for ML rounds 19 and 20. As well as time slots for MiL rounds 9-20. We'll plan on starting the time slot drafts on the 22nd so everyone has a chance to view the multiple league wide emails. This will allow us to then verify rosters which will allow us to open trading and free agency which will spike the activity.
