Thanks Mat. I used the ESPN 2009 salaries link that was provided for the lists I made (and of course my team). I included all players on that list that I did not keep that had exceeded 130 AB or 50 IP in their career stats and thus would be eligible for the majors draft. I was under the impression all teams were required to do this. Did this too.

I just sent a PM to the 5 above listed teams. Quick update. RoyalsGM is not going to make it so we are back to 20 teams. If someone could do a complete list for Royals players that would help. RedsGM and MetsGM are busy but said they would have things updated by this weekend. I am working with/helping BravesGM and RockiesGM so we'll finalize their rosters and get the list up soon.

Hope the best for RoyalsGM although I never knew him. In the end starting at 20 teams, the desired size of the league for the long run, is probably a good thing from the get go.

People may not believe this now, but, it is gonna take awhile to do these drafts. The sooner we get all this other stuff done, the sooner we can get onto the drafts. However, can't make that next step until this one is complete.

The news feed says we are waiting on Rays and Mariners. However, by my count Braves, Mets, Rockies and Reds still need to post free agents here. No biggie, just making a note of it.

Word of warning to all owners, there are some players that are not listed on the ESPN salaries page for each team but who qualify as ML players and have a salary. Couple of examples - Nate McLouth and Tommy Hanson for the Braves. Both are nowhere to be found. I had to look both up even though both were obviously part of Braves. All that to say sure, you can go by this list and expect to not miss a player, but chances are you would. Please do your own research because you may miss out on a player if you overlook them.
Having said that, happy drafting!!! Giddy up!

Good word of warning Jays. Crap. Got more work to do today to find those. But good word of warning just the same.

What site should we use for salaries for such players that ESPN has ignored?

What site should we use for salaries for such players that ESPN has ignored? Use Cot's as a backup. I'm guessing most are either late call ups who passed the 130 AB or 50 Inn. or players traded midseason.
