I'm off for the night. If it gets to me, don't wait up!

DiamondbacksGM, I gotta say, I love your draft thus far.
Kendry Morales Carlos Quentin
Both players very much were on my radar in the rounds they were selected in. I think they were VERY good picks.

Thanks. I am ecstatic to get both of them. If everybody stays healthy I should at least have a good offense for the next 6 years.

Quentin was at the top of my list, but that pitcher run made me reactionary, didn't want to deal with what would happen if I didn't take a pitcher and they were all gone by my next pick. Have to agree though, Morales and Quentin are both great talents.

I tend not to buy into runs on a position anymore. I used to tho. Now I just say "eh, screw it, wasn't meant to be I guess." I just look at my team, look at where I see the biggest holes at, and address those and if I feel I there are better player(s) at another position then at that point I strictly go after best player available and hope I will find another way down the line to fill the hole.
I was really hoping Jared Weaver would fall to me in round 2. Did not happen, so, I took my second closer. Wasn't my top need by far, but, Bailey was a talent that I felt was too good to pass up on despite already having 2 closers on my roster already.

I am now very much looking forward to the MiLB initial draft. I have identified my top-6 players and know I simply am gonna love the player I select at pick 1.6. Now I can sleep well tonight....

Great pick Minnesota of Heath Bell. I seriously considered picking him with my last pick.

lol, Diamondbacks! I had Quentin at the top of my list for this pick and missed him by 1 spot - yours. Had to rationalize taking a closer at this lofty spot in the draft; but you made a very nice pick.

Judging the picks made thus far, we may have to change the league name to Seriously Die-Hard Baseball because there isn't much slipping through the cracks! no shit....at the beginning of the second round, I had a list of six players I was looking at for my pick 2.13. 10 picks later, all six are gone off the board.... Trying to figure out how I'm gonna sneak Zito at 18.5 past you folks....
